The Europe EPAL palette, European standard handling palette, formerly known as euro palette, is a four-way palette that meets UIC 435-2-0 (for the fabrication) and EPAL 'technical regulations' standards.
EPAL palettes are 'exchangeable'. The aim of the system is that when they reach the destination, the provider can have an equivalent palette in exchange for the palette that is under their products.
There are many types of EPAL palettes. The two main ones that we produce are the EPAL 800-1200 palette (often called palette Europe) and the palette 1000-1200 (formerly known as DIN and currently EPAL3).
EPAL palettes can only be produced and repaired by agreed producers and repairers.
